"Hello World"
Zoom with IT is something close to my heart. It is not a company or a voluntary organization, it is my belief that today's young generation can really zoom to success when they learn the essential skills of computing.
The number of resources available today are much more than what was available to us 25 years ago. It was only books, teachers and friends to learn from. It may appear at times that there is so much knowledge available out there but no seekers.
Working with my little girl over different computer concepts it came to me that it would be useful to capture these thoughts and share with you. Most of the schools I have talked to only believe in using technology as an aid for teaching, but have very little interest in teaching about the technology itself. I do not blame them, they work on the basis of curriculum which is set by a governing agency. Until that time, there will be people with a similar belief who will share and collaborate and watch with excitement when an 8 year old understand the concepts of a "variable".
If you have a young one glued to a device all the time, or you looking for some cool ideas to engage your child and also help him understand how programming can be cool and enjoyable, you are in for a treat. Enjoy reading, feedback and comments are welcome. If you would like to get in touch with me, details are below in the footer.
